Alan Lucien Øyen's ENTRE NOUS
Available on KNOW NATIONEntre Nous
Entre Nous is a duet created by Alan Lucien Øyen and performed by Marion Barbeau and Daniel Proietto. Premiered at the Maison de la Musique de Nanterre, the work unfolds within Øyen’s hybrid language, where dance, theatre and cinema converge into a deeply human dramaturgy.
Intimacy and Perception
Set within an almost bare space, illuminated by two film projectors, the work opens a territory where movement holds the potential of narrative without resolving into it.
The relationship between the performers emerges through proximity, timing, and attention — a form of listening carried through the body, where gesture anticipates thought and presence replaces language.
Editing and Relationship
Within this restrained space, the work reflects a contemporary condition marked by disconnection and fragmentation.
The duet appears as a quiet act of resistance: two bodies attempting to sustain a bridge where continuity is no longer given. Movement allows silence to articulate, and fragility becomes a form of precision.
