École Jeannine Manuel Gala @ Palais Garnier

A Celebration of Art, Education, and Legacy

KNOW NATION proudly partnered with École Jeannine Manuel for a milestone gala at the iconic Palais Garnier—an unforgettable evening where legendary performers and students united in a breathtaking celebration of artistry and purpose.

This landmark event commemorated the 70th anniversary of École Jeannine Manuel and the 20th anniversary of its Foundation, reinforcing a shared commitment to cultural enrichment and artistic education for future generations.

A Historic Venue for a Historic Occasion

The grandeur of Palais Garnier set the stage for a spectacular evening where history met innovation. This gala was more than a performance—it was an immersive cultural experience that honored École Jeannine Manuel’s profound legacy.

Bridging Art and Education

For KNOW NATION, this collaboration marked a pivotal moment—our first partnership with an educational institution, highlighting the transformative power of arts education. This initiative, envisioned by Dominique Laulanné, Director of Maison de la Musique de Nanterre (where Daniel Proietto is an Associate Artist), brought KNOW NATION, esteemed artists and young talent together in an unparalleled artistic dialogue.

An Unforgettable Ensemble Performance

A distinguished lineup of internationally acclaimed artists led the evening’s centerpiece:

Daniel Proietto – Choreographer and visionary dancer, crafting a unique performance for this occasion.
Marion Barbeau – Former Paris Opera Ballet Principal Dancer and film star, embodying elegance and passion.
Antonin Monié – Paris Opera Ballet Dancer, bringing refined artistry and precision to the stage.

Joining them were Kevin Delaney and Saya Bringuier as creative assistants, collaborating with students from École Jeannine Manuel to create a mesmerizing expression of movement, grace and intergenerational connectivity.

“From Above” – A Unique Performance

The grand staircase of Palais Garnier became a canvas for From Above, a deeply evocative performance conceived by Daniel Proietto.

This choreographic exploration delved into the duality of perspective—a dialogue between being observed and self-reflection. Featuring Marion Barbeau, Antonin Monié, Daniel Proietto, Kevin Delaney, and the gifted École Jeannine Manuel students, From Above embodied themes of resilience, interconnectedness and clarity.

More than a performance, From Above was a meditation on perception and human connection—urging audiences to reflect on how we see, how we are seen and how movement can become a transformative force.
